The Stella Jones Foundation, through its ECHOES Impact Initiative, is proud to announce the first recipients of the Future Health Leaders Scholarship — a program designed to support promising healthcare students in Nigeria.
This inaugural cohort of nursing students at Abia State University (ABSU) has been awarded full tuition coverage for the entire academic session. The scholarship reflects our commitment to empowering the next generation of healthcare professionals by removing financial barriers to education.
“We believe that investing in young health leaders is one of the most powerful ways to strengthen Nigeria’s healthcare system,” said representatives from the ECHOES team.
We extend our sincere gratitude to our local representatives and the ABSU administration for their partnership and support in launching this initiative.
As we move forward, we aim to expand this scholarship to students in other health-related departments at ABSU.
To do this, we are actively seeking donations, sponsorships, and collaborative support — particularly from those in the diaspora and proud supporters of Abia State.
Together, we can echo change.
Youth Development: The Key to a Brighter Future
February, 2025.
Investing in youth development is one of the most powerful ways to build thriving communities and secure a better future for everyone. Across Nigeria, particularly in the Southeast, young people face significant challenges, including high unemployment rates, limited access to quality education, and few opportunities for entrepreneurship.
Stay tuned for updates on our youth-focused initiatives, and feel free to reach out if you want to be part of the journey. The time to invest in our youth is now.

As a newly established organization, we are excited to celebrate the completion of our very first project, a project that holds great significance for us.
Our first project was under the StrongerTogether initiative. It was a food giveaway project, focused on supporting the women of Abia State. Recognizing the importance of empowering women of the community, we gathered and distributed essential food items to help those in need.
This first project, though just the beginning, has already shown us the power of collective action, and we’re eager to continue supporting the SE region in meaningful ways.
